Challenge:
Print collateral needed for Headspace Counseling, a private practice specializing in EMDR mental health treatment. The branding must include a limited color palette of blue and orange and a memorable, modern logo. These designs need to be bold, yet welcoming and comforting.
Solution:
To achieve a bold, yet calming design, tints of blue and orange were used. After many iterations and versions, the logo was narrowed down to two brain/message clouds communicating, capturing the brand’s tagline: “Let’s process this together”. This further encourages the client to feel safe and in good hands.
Below are preliminary sketches for the logo. As you can see, it was originally going to be called "Thrive Works Counseling". This logo idea came from a small afterthought in this sketch.
