Challenge:
Clean, simple, illustrations for laser-engraved souvenir box lids needs to be created. These will, be primarily sold on Mackinac Island. The line art needs to be minimal since it will be laser-engraved. Altogether, over twenty different drawings will need to be drawn so that there will be a variety of boxes to choose from.

Solution:
Procreate on an iPad was utilized to create clean, minimalistic illustrations so that they cleanly burned onto the wood. Too many lines risk the design getting burnt out, while too few lines risk the viewer not fully understanding what the object is. Therefore, a balance was needed to create the desired result.
